On June 17, 2022, the representatives of law enforcement agencies of Brest region met with foreign students of BrSTU. The meeting was devoted to the current issues of foreign students and the rules of stay on the territory of the Republic of Belarus during the summer vacation.
Deputy Head of the Migration Office of Brest Regional Executive Committee Vadim. V. Rovensky was acquainted with the plans of foreign students for the summer holidays and recalled the need for unconditional compliance with the rules and requirements of the migration legislation of the Republic of Belarus. Vadim.V. Rovensky noted the responsible attitude of the university to work with foreign students.
Head of the Migration Office of Moscow District Administration of Brest Dmitry.T. Lyganovsky noted the importance of timely issuing exit visas or extending the temporary residence for foreign students on the territory of the Republic of Belarus. Ziyad Tarig Mohamed Ali, a Master of the Civil Engineering Faculty, was awarded the “Gratitude” of the Moscow District Administration of Brest for his cooperation with people from Africa and the Middle East.
Words of thanks and “Gratitude” were also given to the staff of the International Office of BrSTU for effective cooperation and professional initiative, as well as for monitoring the stay conditions of foreign students and stateless persons.
